Product Launch Event Checklist for Bangalore Companies

Product Launch Event Checklist for Bangalore Companies

A product launch has one job: make the room believe the product matters before anyone reads a spec sheet. That comes down to sequencing — what gets decided first, what gets locked last — more than any single flourish on the day. Here's the order that tends to hold up.

8-10 weeks out: lock the basics

  • Confirm the launch date against your product/marketing timeline, not just venue availability
  • Define the audience list (press, partners, employees, customers) — this decides venue size and format
  • Set the budget envelope before choosing a venue, so the venue doesn't dictate a budget you didn't plan for
  • Shortlist 2-3 venues in Bangalore that match your capacity and AV needs

6-8 weeks out: concept and vendors

  • Finalize the launch narrative — what changes for the audience because this product exists
  • Lock stage design, branding and any product-reveal mechanics
  • Book AV, lighting and technical production vendors
  • Send save-the-dates to press and key guests

3-4 weeks out: logistics and registration

  • Open formal invitations/registration with RSVP tracking
  • Confirm speaker line-up and rehearse the run-of-show
  • Finalize catering, signage and any gifting or press kits
  • Brief on-ground staff on registration, seating and crowd flow

Week of: execution

  • Full technical rehearsal on-site, including any live product demo
  • Confirm press/photography coverage and shot list
  • Walk the guest journey end to end — parking to exit — as if you were a first-time attendee
  • Assign a single point of contact for on-the-day decisions, so nothing waits on a group call

After the launch

Capture attendance numbers, media coverage and any follow-up requests within 48 hours, while the context is still fresh. That data is what makes the next launch's budget conversation easier.

Timelines compress for smaller launches and stretch for multi-city rollouts, but the sequence — audience and budget first, concept and vendors next, logistics last — holds either way.
